ExPak OSB: The Greener Alternative

The ExPak Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a cheaper alternative to plywood case packaging. It is a strong and cost-effective solution that yields our customers a saving of 5-15%.

What is an oriented strand board?
OSB is made from long wood fibres from fast-growing trees which renders this material to have a low environmental impact. Fibres are interwoven and processed through intense heat and pressure, creating a sturdy board with comparative strength to plywood.

  • Low-cost
  • Strong material
  • Low environmental impact
  • Quick and easy to assemble/disassemble

CratePak-O (O for ‘open’) is a collapsible wooden crate, perfect for packing products that do not require the use of enclosed boxes but a strong frame to contain bulky, heavy-duty products.

Like the ExPak range, no nails are needed to assemble the crate. The panels are chamfered to securely fit the Dusogat connectors made from polypropylene. CratePak-O can be dismantled with ease and uses minimal storage space.
